Medicines and Infectious Illness/Disease
We are not authorised to administer medication other than for long-term illnesses (such as asthma) or severe allergies (e.g. those which may require the use of an antihistamine).
If your child is taking antibiotics or medication such as Calpol, he/she must be kept at home until the course of medication is finished.
For guidance on the exclusion times for common illnesses/diseases, please speak to Gill.
It is important to remember that the immune system of children under five years of age is still developing and bringing your child back to school before he/she is fully well may have a negative effect on the other children in the class/school.
