Clothing

St. Anne's clothes Throughout the day your child will come into contact with a range of materials including sand, playdough, paint, glue etc. Please do not send your child to school in their best clothes – there is a good chance that they may be spoiled!

It is also important that children wear non-slip shoes. Our curriculum involves children using equipment to climb and balance and they need to be able to do this safely. Fashion shoes and boots, including those with heels and strappy backs are not advisable. Open toe sandals are also not suitable for climbing. If you prefer, you could leave a pair of plimsolls in school for your child to change into.

St. Anne’s does not have a school uniform. However, we do sell (at cost and not for a profit) practical, hard-wearing, ‘work-a-day’ polo shirts, fleeces and sun hats. Please see Glenys for further information.
