Complaints Procedure

We hope that you and your child will be happy during the time you are with us at nursery. However, we are aware that the occasional problem may arise. Most issues can be dealt with informally through talking to your child’s class teacher or another member of the class team. They are always happy to discuss any concerns you may have.

If, after discussion, you feel that a satisfactory conclusion has not been reached, the following procedure should be carried out:

Make an appointment to see the Headteacher. This avoids ‘doorstep’ discussions and allows time and consideration to be given to the issue on both sides. Appointments should be made through the school office.

If, after discussion with the Headteacher, you feel that the issue has not been resolved, a letter of formal complaint should be sent to the Chair of Governors via the school office.
